Amid the dry, desert sands of Doha, rises a shimmering new landmark: the QNL. Chris is proud to have been commissioned to photograph this building, about which its Dutch designer/architect Rem Koolhaas said: “Libraries are perfect to produce radical architecture. Clearly, there is a paradox by which new inventions are produced from traditional forms, and this can be seen at the Qatar National Library.”
