Chris has been represented by the prestigious Panos Pictures Photo Agency, in London, since 1992. Thousands of photos shot during his numerous assignments and travels in over 70 countries reside in the Panos stock archives.

Chris’s work has appeared in publications ranging from Newsweek, TIME and Forbes to National Geographic Traveller, The Economist, Businessweek, LA Times and The New York Times. He is co-author of the Insight Guides book on Travel Photography, and is principal photographer for the Insight Guides and Dorling Kindersley guidebooks to Japan, The Philippines, South Korea, Hong Kong, San Diego, South Vietnam, Taiwan, Taipei City and many more.

He has held several solo photographic exhibitions, and regularly shoots for NGOs such as OXFAM, Save The Children and ActionAid. Chris has published two coffee table books on India (Hair India and Jodhpur: Within the Walls), and is currently writing a series of books about his exploits as a young photojournalist in Asia.
